Installing from USB with unetbootin | |

Junior Mitglied Posts: 8 Registered: 2010-02-25 | Hello,
I'm trying to install Paldo from usb with unetbootin. Which arguments do I have to pass here:
root=cdrom rootfstype=auto ?
I tried using: root=/dev/disk/by-label/paldo as suggested in another post, but that doesn't do anything, I tried experimenting with arguments, but no luck. Anybody has an idea?
Thanks. |

Formatted Stick with FAT16 and labeled it PALDO
used unetbootin with paldo-stable iso from 15.11.2010.
then changed syslinux.cfg
root=/dev/disk/by-label/PALDO rootfstype=vfat
Voila!
Booting with a flickering charme (ati mainboardgraphic) into Gnome-Desktop
