Hello,
I'm running the stable x86 liveCD (2010-07-04). All is ok, except when I try to mount a Win XP NTFS partition. After autentication, it appears this message: "Unable to mount 80 GB Filesystem. Error mounting: mount: unknown filesystem type 'ntfs'".

Do you have any idea?

Thanks in advance.

This is a problem with ntfs3g program...

The system tries to mount ntfs partitions throught the command /sbin/mount.ntfs but ntfs-3g installs at /sbin/mount.ntfs-3g so you need to symlink

Code[In neuem Fenster öffnen]
sudo ln -sv /sbin/mount.ntfs-3g /sbin/mount.ntfs

I see. This is a solution for an installed system, but running in live mode I'll have to write the command each time I boot the system.

I think should be interesting to add this symlink to the ISO for having NTFS partitions accessible since the boot.

Thank you for your response.
