i am using Paldo on here and there almost from beginning.

but first time it is staying nearly (testing x86_64) 1 year on my desktop and i have not updated it to make little experiment for a long time. almost ten months have been passed after last update. a month ago i tried to update my system via upkg and everything went smooth.

this can be easily expressed with power of package manager and general stability of distro.

I believe Paldo is one of the most successful distributions and it deserves more mainstream attention.

Keep up the good work.

I'm using Linux just since only less than 1 year. Due to so many distros arround witch I didn't had a clue about, when I started, I decided to keep trying many different ones, and certain day I installed Paldo. As time went by I found myself using it much more offten than other distros in my box ( 9 partitions and 5 different distros), due to 3 reasons: simple, very fast ( I use 64bit) and rock solid. I'm still too unexperient with Linux to be aware about any eventual not so evident draw-backs, but so far, so good, for me, and I'm surprised that Paldo seems that hasn't been "discovered" by the hudge Linux community.

Paldo is very good, but there is not much communication in the fora, in IRC or anywhere.
Maybe Paldo's wants to stay in the background?

It seems there was more communication in the past, at least here at the forum, during the period of time after the creation of the distro up to when things start working flawlessly. Maybe nowadays, as far as things keep working, most users are happy and they don't come often to the forums. Also, perhaps the creators are busy and wouldn't have time to assist answering questions, in case many new users would arrive. Above all, what matters most is that the distro is being regularly updated witch mean the owners care about it, and in most cases someone reply to questions placed by the users.

Paldo is a great distro i'm using it since 1.15, and when i have problem i dreally satisfied. On chan you can always find juergbi and many others a cetain time like nicu frafra diego who can help. And for communication, in french wrld we try to make it known, for instance here: http://www.quebecos.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=3743
