you should be able to do that with upkg-install
But remember that paldo is gnome centric distro so these programs you're looking at are not very updated, or are not on the repository.
I don't know but if they're in the repository they should be part of kdemultimedia
Try first to use instead of k3b >> brasero and instead of koulourpaint >> GIMP
Since you're a new to paldo, to install a package you should go to a terminal, gnome-terminal, and type:
Upkg still only accept one package at a time, so you can't do a upkg-install with multiple packages like : sudo upkg-install kdemultimedia gimp , it won't work do first one package then the other.
