Junior Mitglied Posts: 6 Registered: 2008-08-27 | I have installed JRE 6 Update 12 from
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp ,
to get a 64-bit Java Plug-In.
Now I can see java applets in my browser.
This is how I did it after downloading jre-6u12-linux-x64.bin:
sh /path/to/jre-6u12-linux-x64.bin
sudo mv jre1.6.0_12/ /usr/lib/jre
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/jre/lib/amd64/libnpjp2.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
thats it 
If someone could make a Package Specification? |
