Hi guys i'd like to install paldo in my acer aspire one A110L, anyone have the same netbook with this distribution? I'd like to say if it will work well on this machine. thx for helping me and sorry for my bad english

Normally it should work. I can test it for you with a live-cd in my shop. Hope I still have some in store ...

I have installed paldo and the webcam work out of the box the same for the smart sd, wireless cart seems work only by terminal(iwconfig ecc.) but the NM don't reveals it, audio work out of the box but the touchpad scrolling now don't work.
I'll try to configure my netbook with paldo now but there is just another litle problem, with upkg i've installe amsn but there isn't the tls package so it can't work XD

What branch did you test? stable or testing? the 2.6.28 kernel changed somehow the touchpad support so tapping or scrolling is disabled on some notebooks. 2.6.27.10 is still fine and can be found in stable.

I didn't had the time to test it in my shop myself. Maybe later or so.

I installed amsn here on my pc and the program starts. Why do you think tls is needed. If so I'll add it to the repository ...

I'm using the testing branch, the touchpad isen't a big problem i'll try to resolve it ;-)...amsn when i try to connect say that i haven't tls, i have downloaded the tls source but when i compile that there aren't some dependencies in the repository so i have to compile too many packages and with this netbook is really slow
I'll be obliged if you put tls library in the repository :-D

I'll add tls hopefully 2night. I checked some forums and tls is needed
2 run the program.

a normal upkg-upgrade should add tls ...
