I noticed that in testing somehow the american layout was selected.
after re-adding the german layout in my case it worked again after
a reboot. might be the same issue in your case ... |

I also like Paldo a lot.......
But it would be nice if it could speak my language (danish) as well. I know how to set the keymap in Gnome and X. But it would be nice if my keyboard was suported on console also.
And maybe danish menus. But I can accept and live with the international (US-English) as well.
But how can I make my console understand my keybord ????? Is it supported ??
Have a nice day

find this part:
Code | [In neuem Fenster öffnen] | |
<merge key="input.xkb.layout" type="string">us</merge>
<merge key="input.xkb.variant" type="string" />
|
and correct it into your language.
Then copy this file into etc with this command:
sudo cp /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor/*keymap* /etc/hal/fdi/policy
reboot pc and enjoy it .............................. OS: Paldo-1.18-testing (Gnome 2.26.2) |
