Problem installing wine | |

Junior Mitglied Posts: 3 Registered: 2008-12-08 | When I try to install wine on a fresh install of 1.16, I keep getting:
upkg-install wine
Generating script...
Writing script...
Executing script...
System already up-to-date.
Am I missing something? It hasn't been installed yet...

Administrator Posts: 426 Registered: 2004-09-09 | Are you trying to install wine on x86_64? wine is only available on x86 as its purpose is to execute x86 Windows applications and a 64-bit wine is unable to run 32-bit Windows applications. |

wine x86_64 wouldn't be very useful as you could only run 64-bit Windows applications, which are not really common. |
