GNOME 2.24.2 Stable Release

This is the second update to GNOME 2.24. It contains many fixes for
important bugs that directly affect our users, documentation updates
and also a large number of updated translations. Many thanks to all
the contributors who worked hard on delivering those changes in time.
We hope it will help people feel better in their daily use of computers!

The next stable version of GNOME will be GNOME 2.24.3, which is due on
January 14th. Meanwhile, the GNOME community is actively working on the
unstable branch of GNOME that will become GNOME 2.26 in March 2009.

We are updating this weekend to 2.24.2 and 2.25.2 in testing/unstable.

Hi,
I would like to know if I can to update my paldo for unstable with gnome 2.25.2: is that safe? I had installed paldo testing but there is some things didn't work here, like video and clock in the panel...: any help with this things?

Sorry Amnong for my imprecision...
I have had sucessfull for configurating my time zone. I have problem now in watching kind of videos like this on wwww.tv5.fr: the sound is ok but de images not appearing and I don't why?!! I installed the package like mplayerplug-in... others codecs is necessary? Which one?

I don't know how but i could get to install firefox and get to access to site for watch video; like www.tv5.fr

totem player plugin should be installed by default:

mplayerplug-in does it most. also flash_player in x86 branch. firefox is normal easy to install:

You've only to know the name of the package as you can find in your search page.
