Junior Mitglied Posts: 28 Registered: 2008-05-12 | I’am using Paldo GNU/Linux for about a week now and I have to confess that it really rocks:
- It’s a pure distro (not ubuntuazed!),
- it’s (more or less) easy,
- it’s up to date and
- it’s not buggy even though it’s always up to date!
BUT: There is many non-free software – and even worse: these software is not declared as non-free. I would love Paldo if you would add the licenses of the packages on their software description pages (e. g. http://www.paldo.org/index.php?section=packages&page=main&releaseid=106548). |

I wrote the install-script for REALbasic. You won't find it in any other distribution. Well I don't redistribute it actually. It is only a upkg-script to download the software from the vendor page and install it with upkg.
Even we don't host the tgz-tarball on our servers cos of the troubles with re-distribution. So REALbasic is for sure a commercial linux software but free for use on linux.
Putting some licenses on a rls-page shouldn't be an issue. It is doable.
