paldo x86_64 testing
the error related with x264 package.
[root@paldo:~]# mencoder
mencoder: error while loading shared libraries: libx264.so.59: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

my bad. In testing I updated ffmpeg and x264. Now I updated also mplayer. tell me what you think about the new versions ...

mencoder works now but i ve got this error when i try remove
x264 package

[paldo@paldo:~]$ sudo upkg-remove x264
Generating script...
ERROR: Package 'x264' not found in list of selected packages.
Could not generate script!
[paldo@paldo:~]$

cos x264 don't generates a select-file. It is a dependency of mplayer and other packages. If you want to remove a package which is still used by other packages you might brake you OS. You can still do that with the switch --force.

sudo upkg-remove --force x264
