first of all, thank you for the blender builds ... it is a joy to see how enthusiastic and dependable you are and we appreciate the work you do!
I have a quick favor to ask: We tested the latest build (r17624)and it has a few minor quirks ... when you have time, would it be OK to make the last build available (from last week)?
Again, thank you for your dedication to the arts and making Paldo GNU/Linux the most amazing distro we know of :) |

Moderator Linux-Dude Posts: 1187 Registered: 2006-11-23 | You mean build 2.48a-svn-r17587-1?
well I can't test the builds myself cos I've not the knowlege how to use it. Only how to build it.
If a newer version produces problems you've to tell me.
Sometimes it is already fixed in the svn. I can only commit packages after work.
Quickfix would be:
create a local repository
download the spec of blender
change the version number to the old build
point the tarball to the server
Code | [In neuem Fenster öffnen] | | - <release version="2.48a-svn-r17624" revision="1" branch="testing">
+ <deps>
<dep name="x11" />
<dep name="xext" />
<dep name="xxf86vm" />
<dep name="freetype" />
<dep name="SDL" />
<dep name="Python" />
<dep name="jpeg" />
<dep name="libpng" />
<dep name="zlib" />
<dep name="openal" />
<dep name="scons" />
<dep name="freealut" />
<dep name="openexr" />
<dep name="ffmpeg" />
<dep name="gettext" />
<dep name="mesa" />
</deps>
- <build>
- <script>
<archive name="http://www.paldo.org/paldo/sources/blender/blender-$VERSION"> |
also I noticed x86_64 is broken atm. |
