sometimes i show paldo to friends and therefore would like to add a second user account to my machine featuring compiz.
In the past, using another linux distro, i've used compiz but had to add a line in sessions so that compiz would start with the emerald window decorations.
My gfx card is an nvidia 7600GT, nothing fancy, and should be 100% supported.
Right now, I've added "compiz-manager" to my "Sessions" so that it starts with the emerald themes. For some reason, I think this is not the best way because there is a long delay before the desktop appears.
How would one do this properly?
The goal is to have a user account that features compiz with the mac4lin theme and icons. It is all running now but if there is a better way to do this, please enlighten me :=)
Thanks!
P.S. I'm getting nice comments on my old cosmio laptop running paldo stable :) |
