Hey gang :-)
Paldo is rendering hard 24/7 and i'm playing with the idea to convert the audio workstation but am not sure if there are any audio apps available.
My main MIDI keyboard is an M-Audio Keystation 88 and typing:
"lsusb" in a terminal generates this output:
[me@black-dog:~/Desktop]$ lsusb
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0a4d:00b5 Evolution Electronics, Ltd
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 172f:0031
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001

So the keyboard is recognized but the jack audio kit is needed to interface with software like http://ardour.org/ and others.

Any suggestions are welcome :-)

Other than that, plado is exceeding my expectations and so far i have only good things to say about it!

The developers are doing an awesome job! I'll be at the UBC (University of British Columbia) tomorrow and can't wait to show paldo off on my laptop!

well atm we are only work optimized. since paldo is pure adaptable we can tune it also for your other needs, well I've to. I'll look into ardour and try to add it to the repo. blender 2.47 is online btw.

That would be amazing! To have ardour would make this not just a robust business distribution, but also a graphics designers dream (which it already is).
Thanks for updating blender (I'm not aware of any distro that has the latest release in it already).
Besides ardour, would it be hard (as in lots of work) to also try and get "Make Human" available?
Their web site: http://www.makehuman.org has packages for Linux and maybe you could give it a whirl?

Thanks!

P.S. This is not a hurry, just that makeHuman would round out the studio pipe line a bit more because it is very useful for graphics artists using Linux who have no access to poser which will only run in Windows.
