After removing KDE3 I've again the problem that the gnome-menu shows me folder-icons instead of the normal icons:



I don't remember how to restore the original gnome-menu ...

this didn't helped: rm -rf ~/.config/menus/*

will see if rm -rf .gnome .gnome2 .gconf .gconfd .metacity will help ...

seems it was the new kdelibs 4.1. I removed k3b and the libs and reinstalled gnome-menus after I removed the /etc/xdg/menus/applications.menu. Now it is the old menu again.
