I checked and found out that the md5 was screwed up. So i burnt a new one and i will let you know later how it works. On the other hand i am a completely newbie to world of linux with an voracious apptitude for learning to compile, ability to read code and basically be a part of a Linux community. If you have any thoughts to share or even starting points for me to get familiar with these aspects please guide me, perhaps if you like let me into your group.
Are there KDE and other Desktop environments. If so how can i make them or get them.. Once again thanks for your super fast answer. |

I wanted to try paldo as it's an hybrid source/binary distro.
Unfortunatly it's impossible to boot. I use nero linux v4 for burning at 8x and 4x but even if nero report succes the CD is still unbootable.
It's a problem i never got with ubuntu.
MD5sum are correct using gISOMount to check it.
It would be great you can put a .img file to dd on a usb stick.
Unetbootin don't work cause of menu.list entry point a cdrom and i can't manage to edit properly the entry with tab.(???)
In virtual box I point virtual cd to the iso and the live cd works flawlessy
I don't really understand what's going on. |
