I have a Lite-On CDRW and Lite-On DVDRW. I tried using the Brasero Disc Burning Application to create an audio CD from MP3's, but when I click "Burn" it tells me that the disk needs 618 meg free when its a 700 meg blank CD. The cdrdao package is installed, and I'm using Gnome 2.20.

Uname -a is Linux paldo 2.6.23.12-paldo1-x86 #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun Dec 23 10:55:27 CET 2007 i686 GNU/Linux.

What do I need to get the CD burning to work?

Is your user in the "cdrom" group? You can check this by running "groups" in a terminal. Users created with paldo-installer will automatically be added to the "cdrom" group.
