I found a german review about my InstallerCD in the technik.movie2digital-forum.

You can read the full review here.

The tester had problems with the X11-detection. He hated the maximum resolution paldo used. For the record: If I use my VGA-connection of my TFT paldo uses a higher resolution as my TFT supports. It gets displayed but the "not supported resolution"-message of the screen is annoying. Also he things our fonts-decision might be wrong ...

He used a CRT monitor and it's almost impossible to automatically get the ideal resolution on every CRT monitor, especially as many monitors report bad data to the graphics card. paldo is optimized for relatively new hardware, LCDs work a lot better in general but we know that there may still be issues. Often the monitor is the culprit but that obviously doesn't help the user.

The Num Lock LED issue is an upstream X server bug that should get fixed for X server 1.4.1 and we will update as soon as it is available.

The font issue might be because of the CRT monitor, paldo defaults have been optimized for LCD monitors. Disabling Subpixel smoothing in System->Preferences->Appearance->Fonts might help.
