I updated the paldo-installer local on my machine and thought I did a proper release. I ran into troubles.

First the installer didn't compile cos of vala:

http://www.paldo.org/~amnon/isoimages/logs/build.log

Then the ISO can't get created cos of "/var/cache/upkg"-dir:

http://www.paldo.org/~amnon/isoimages/logs/build2.log

Can someone tell me how to create proper releases out of the checked-out trunks of vala and paldo-installer?

Here is my r3-preview:

http://www.paldo.org/~amnon/paldo-installer-svn/paldo-installer-svn-r3-preview1.tar.bz2

This is what I found out:

In the partition-page you can't select swap anymore.
In the install-page the progressbar went crazy (copying all files in less than a second) and it seems the root-partition don't get formated right.

Hope we can fix this

For vala:

Checkout the newest svn with this cmd:

Code[In neuem Fenster öffnen]
svn co http://svn.gnome.org/svn/vala/trunk vala

Change into the dir vala and run these cmds:

Code[In neuem Fenster öffnen]
cd vala
./autogen.sh
make
make dist

You get two new files: vala-X.X.X.tar.bz2 vala-X.X.X.tar.gz

For paldo-installer:

Checkout the newest code with this cmd:

Code[In neuem Fenster öffnen]
svn co svn://paldo.org/paldo-installer/trunk paldo-installer

Change into the dir paldo-installer and run these cmds:

Code[In neuem Fenster öffnen]
cd paldo-installer
./autogen.sh
make
make dist

You get two new files: paldo-installer-X.X.X.tar.bz2 paldo-installer-X.X.X.tar.gz
