I upgraded to the new kernel today and now I got this:

etc/passwd and etc/group seems to me to be fine.

How can I fix it?

my bad. somehow /etc/group gots deleted on my 32bit install. I copied the one of my 64bit install to the hdd and it works again. If you want you can delete this whole thread.
