I (precompiled version) and rasa (OSE version) managed to create a package of VirtualBox for Paldo GNU/Linux

I'm using it my self to check my ISOs before uploading them.

Information

innotek VirtualBox is a family of powerful x86 virtualization products for enterprise as well as home use. Not only is VirtualBox an extremely feature rich, high performance product for enterprise customers, it is also the only professional solution that is freely available as Open Source Software under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL). See "About VirtualBox" for an introduction; see "innotek" for more about our company.

Presently, VirtualBox runs on x86 architecture only. A x86_64 build will be released later.

The User-Manual can be downloaded from here.

How to install it

First add my repository to your local upkg.conf file.
Open a terminal and do this:

Code[In neuem Fenster öffnen]
$ su
Password: enter your root password
# upkg-install VirtualBox

You can start VirtualBox via 'Applications -> System Tools -> InnoTek Virtual Box'

VirtualBox OpenSource Edition 1.3.8 is now in the main-repo for the x86 arch. Thx rasa for building this OSE package. I would do it also but it was a "little" to complex for me
