The new hal-0.5.9-4 don't mount DVD/CDs so I installed the old one:

Administrator Posts: 426 Registered: 2004-09-09 | It works fine here with the new HAL version. Have you restarted the system after upgrading?
BTW: HAL itself doesn't control automounting, gnome-volume-manager does. |

Moderator Linux-Dude Posts: 1187 Registered: 2006-11-23 | It is solved now. I removed the *.saved files in the lib-folder and reinstalled hal. Seems I installed it during a upkg-build session. |
