What I did:

Code[In neuem Fenster öffnen]
su
password: entered my pw
rm -rf /var/cache/upkg/*
mkdir -p /upkg
cd /upkg
upkg-bootstrap --branch=stable paldo-desktop
cd /
mksquashfs upkg/* /media/sda5/paldo_install_livecd/paldo/paldo

When I try to mount paldo I get this:

Code[In neuem Fenster öffnen]
mount -o loop -t squashfs /media/sda5/paldo_install_livecd/paldo/paldo /media/testsquashfs

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop1,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so

sudodmesg | tail
**WARNING** I2C adapter driver [NVIDIA i2c adapter 2 at 5:00.0] forgot to specify physical device; fix it!
eth0: no IPv6 routers present
cdrom: sr2: mrw address space DMA selected
ISO 9660 Extensions: Microsoft Joliet Level 3
ISO 9660 Extensions: RRIP_1991A
squashfs: version 3.2-r2 (2007/01/15) Phillip Lougher
SQUASHFS error: Can't find a SQUASHFS superblock on loop1

What can I do to do a proper SQUASHFS I can mount?

I don't see a mistake in your commands, did mksquashfs finish without errors/warnings?

the squashfs of unstable branch is broken. The one in stabel/testing
is working. I think it is better to fix it in unstable.

The squashfs version in unstable is a bug-fix release and should have been moved to testing already. It's also working fine here but I have only tested with simple contents.

<Well I tested the unstable version to, but it took me 2h to
squashfs the bootstrapped /upkg-folder. With the one
in stable it worked and needed only 10 min to do the same.
