Most Distributions stay and fall with it installer. UPKG is a nice packagemanager. I can install paldo without a problem and can also create packages.

For beginner is vi, fdisk and co to difficult so they won't install paldo.
I searched and searched but don't found a good installer to mod for paldo.

When is planned to do the installer?
