PXE install and general questions
So.. I'm a long time debian user that went stable on the desktop when lenny was announced. And god its boring, old and gives me time for actual work - so I felt the need for something more upstream to waste my time in a hopefully more fun way. I plan to initially preserve my debian partitions, just in case.
First 4 questions though:
- is it possible to install w/o the full desktop (ie. minimal gnome), with no desktop, only myth etc.?
- do you support installing from network/pxe?
- is paldo laptop-friendly?
- do you recommend using the grub from paldo, or is any grub equally good?

Yes. If you'll take the boot-cd you can install, whatever you want. (minimal-gnome is the package: paldo-desktop-base)
do you support installing from network/pxe?
Yes; download the boot-cd and bootstrap paldo. Many informations about this can you find in our wiki: http://www.paldo.org/wiki/Installation-Bootstrapping
is paldo laptop-friendly?
Of course. Many wireless-card are detected out of the box.
do you recommend using the grub from paldo, or is any grub equally good?
Yes; I never got a problem with paldo-grub.
