my Nvidia Onboard Card GeForce 7050 PV/nForce 630a will not be recognize.

What can I do?

This seems to be a bug in the proprietary nvidia driver as it doesn't recognize the supported resolutions from the monitor, in which case we can't do much about it. Is this an old (CRT) monitor? If you've connected your monitor via a switch box, can you try without?

Can you try with the paldo testing CD? It contains an updated nvidia driver among other things. The updates will be released as a new paldo version in about a week.

Many users install the testing version and it usually works fine. However, package updates are a lot more frequent and from time to time some parts may be broken.

You can install KDE4 in paldo testing with

I don't know about the default desktop, I'm not maintaining the KDE packages.
